Matt and Julie! So sweet! So great! Get back together puleeze!?

Matt and his Grandma was so heartbreakingly beautiful. That kid should not have to deal with all that he deals with. I love him and just want to take all his pain away. I have a feeling there will be even more though, what with this hotshot kid quarterback and now being an emancipated minor and I'm pretty sure that's not the last we're seeing of his mom. I just hope the him and Julie thing works out. He needs some good things to happen to him. You hear me, writers? This kid better have the fucking happy ending that he deserves!

SMASH! So great. So happy. Texas A&M? That's fucking awesome. He can do it. He has to do it. Mama Smash and Coach will be so proud of him.

Tim and Lyla are working for me. I like it. It's sweet, and it makes sense. He ate pigeon! He googled! He wore a jacket and tie! And she understood that he was uncomfortable and brought him a cheeseburger. Good on both of them.

Tyra... I was bummed that she resorted to sex to sell her campaign. She's better than that. Tami knows it too, but I'm afraid she may have been too harsh on Tyra. I love Landry as Tyra's cheerleader, and think their friendship is so amazing. My second favorite friendship on the show, after Matt and Landry.

Not a lot of football in this episode, but it didn't really matter. The writing has really tightened up from last year and I"m just loving this season! Excellent.
